The most awaited iPhone 12 remained unannounced at the “Time Flies” event held on 15th September, 2020. Though the crowd has to wait for the new iPhone addition, there were few add-ons to the Apple Family. The event revealed the brand new Apple Watch Series 6 and iPad Air to its collection.
Here are the four major announcements from the virtual show:
The first announcement
The new Apple Watch Series 6($399) the GPS version, is expected to keep a track of blood oxygen levels. Exceptionally, the screen of this watch can get 2.5 times brighter outdoors and possesses an altimeter that never goes off. The shades of the device are the blue aluminum case, gold stainless steel, gray stainless steel named graphite. There are two more interesting watch products – Red Model and a watch face showing Memoji.
The second announcement
After the announcement of the Apple Watch Series 6, Apple came up with another addition to the iPad series. The modernized iPad Air($599) replaced the home button option with a Touch ID sensor installed into the top power button. Additionally, the iPad Air will include a USB- C port instead of Apple’s patent lightning port. The latest iPad comes in five distinct colors – sky blue, green, silver, space gray, and rose gold.
The third announcement
Apple is widening its reach across the fitness platform. It is launching Apple Fitness +, providing weekly workout videos with monthly subscriptions starting at $9.99 as well as $79.99 yearly. The videos can be crisscrossed with iPhones, iPads, and Apple Tv. The workout sessions on Apple Fitness + will upload activities like yoga, cycling, dance, and updates on workouts every week. The initiative will launch before the end of 2020. The Apple users can subscribe for $9.99 per month and $ 79.99 for a year.
The fourth announcement
Apple pleased its customers by adding Apple – One subscription to the existing additions. It sums up Apple Music, Apple Tv+, Apple Arcade, and iCloud storage for $14.5 monthly. The Apple News+ and Apple Fitness+ will be available at $ 29.95 per month.
Apple devices in the queue
After the release of those resourceful and creative gadgets, Apple will be releasing several software updates today, September 16, 2020. The upcoming devices include ioS 14, iPadOS 14, watchOS 7, and tvOS 14. Apple substitutes its hardware products with the new software on board.
